Smoker Tackle is a family owned and operated company. "Magic" is the best word available that describes the performance of our lures, which has been nothing short of phenomenal. We have been producing trusted, quality American made products since 2001. Our lures are hand cut from hand selected high density balsa wood and/or high quality, solid PVC plastic (depending on the lure), hand air brushed, and finished with durable holographic epoxy or automotive sealer. Each lure produced by Smoker Tackle is unique. We take great pride in our work and strive to provide excellent customer service.

    Our first lure produced for the masses, the SS Shad, was developed after years of musky fishing in our home lakes of Missouri and Illinois. We realized that we were missing trophy musky by not being able to cast into shallow wood and weed covered waters. The SS Shad has been credited for catching trophy musky, along with numerous bass, northern pike, and walleye by many satisfied customers. Over the years our product line has expanded to include: four different SS Shad sizes, two squirrely SS Shad sizes, a mid-depth SS Shad lure, a 4.5 inch jointed SS Shad, and a minnow bait, the SS Shiner. All of our lures are made in our 10 stock colors, but we do a lot of custom colors, as well.
